These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Blue Collar Home Maintenance & Repair LLC ("Blue Collar NRV," "we," "us," or "our") website and services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services Overview
Blue Collar NRV provides home maintenance, repair, and general contracting services to residential customers in the New River Valley area of Virginia, including Christiansburg, Pulaski, and Radford. Our services include, but are not limited to:
- Emergency home repairs
- Routine maintenance and upkeep
- General home repairs and improvements
- Property maintenance services
2. Service Agreements & Estimates
- All service work is performed based on a mutually agreed-upon scope of work.
- Estimates are provided based on our assessment of the work required and are subject to change if additional issues are discovered during the project.
- Any changes to the original scope of work will be communicated and must be approved by the customer before additional work begins.
- Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
3. Project Timelines
- We strive to complete all projects within the estimated timeline communicated at the start of the work.
- Project timelines may be affected by factors beyond our control, including weather conditions, material availability, permit requirements, and discovery of unforeseen issues.
- We will promptly communicate any significant delays and work with you to adjust the timeline accordingly.
- Blue Collar NRV is not liable for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
4. Payment Terms
- Payment terms will be outlined in the service agreement or estimate provided before work begins.
- For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work commences. The deposit amount will be specified in the estimate.
- Final payment is due upon completion of the agreed-upon work, unless alternative payment arrangements have been made in writing.
- Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of service.
- Late payments may be subject to a service charge as outlined in the service agreement.
5. Cancellation Policy
- Customer Cancellation: You may cancel a scheduled service with at least 24 hours' notice without penalty. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
- Project Cancellation: If you cancel a project after work has begun, you are responsible for payment for all work completed and materials purchased up to the date of cancellation.
- Our Cancellation: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule services due to safety concerns, extreme weather, or other circumstances that would prevent quality workmanship.
6. Warranty & Workmanship
- We stand behind our workmanship and strive for customer satisfaction on every project.
- Specific warranty terms for completed work will be provided in writing upon project completion when applicable.
- Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, acts of nature, or modifications made by others after our work is completed.
7. Liability Limitations
- Blue Collar NRV carries appropriate insurance for our services. Proof of insurance is available upon request.
- Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of use, lost profits, or business interruption.
- Blue Collar NRV is not responsible for pre-existing conditions or issues discovered during the course of service that are outside the original scope of work.
8. Customer Responsibilities
As a customer, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about the work needed and any known issues with the property.
- Ensure safe and reasonable access to the work area.
- Secure pets and remove personal belongings from the work area prior to service.
- Obtain any necessary homeowner association approvals or permits, unless otherwise agreed.
9. Dispute Resolution
- Direct Resolution: We encourage customers to contact us directly with any concerns or disputes. We are committed to resolving issues promptly and fairly.
- Mediation: If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing other legal remedies.
- Governing Law: These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Jurisdiction: Any legal action arising from these Terms shall be filed in the courts of Montgomery County, Virginia.

- We reserve the right to modify, update, or remove website content at any time without notice.
- You may not use our website for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the website.
